Blue Yeti microphones persistently disconnect on my MacBook Pro

few months ago "droslovinia" started this tread. I subscribe and share it again as i face the same issue (since Sonoma update). Symptoms are exactly the same appart mine is 2019 Intel.

*************

I have a 16-inch 2020 MBP, running Monterey (12.1) and I recently bought 3 Yeti Mics. They constantly disconnect while in use but reset for a short time when I unplug and reconnect them. I've not had this issue with other USB mics.

So far, I've tried plugging into a different port; purchasing a different USB cable so I could plug it directly into the port, rather than using a dongle; uninstalling the Logitech (G-Hub) software that is supposed to support it; and swapping out mics with another Yeti from a factory-sealed box. None of that works. restarting works for a little while, but produces the same problem after an unspecified time.

i tried everything, i also changed browser thinking it was to slow with firefox .. nothing changed. I suspected the hand off option of the iphone that kept interfering with the set up (so i turned of the iphone hand off option) ... nothing woked.

talking with logitech client service they asked me to get refunded from amazon (where i bought the mic) but it is not anymore under 2 years guarantee. i strongly think the problem comes from logitech / blue yeti

it was a bad choice to buy this mic
