Brand new Apple USB-C cable stopped working

I purchased my iPhone 15 pro in October. No issues until yesterday. My phone was charging like normal then stopped. After help from a friend, we realized it was the usb c cable. There's no damage to it though - no cuts, no breakage, no water damage. So I don't understand what happened. Please help!

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

The Apple USB-C charging cable is covered under the Apple 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. You will need to have an Apple Technician examine this cable to verify that this would be the case ... and, if so, you may find that you can get a replacement for little or no cost to you.
