iPhone 15 plus crackling noise

I just bought the iPhone 15 plus a couple of days back and it has a crackling noise or distortion in the top speaker at maximum volume.

The sound is noticeable in various songs with lots of vocals / apple’s ringtone Dollop.

my friend who has an iPhone 15 pro max also has the issue and when I checked on reddit lots of people complained about the issue there.
