My iphone X screen is smashed, how i wanna reset/wipe it before i have it repaired because i have confidential info there, theres also no password on my device. how can i wipe it or reset,(NB) i am unable to see the screen

Try erasing it from iCloud. Note that it has to at least be able to connect to the Internet and be turned on.
