Message: "The Music Library file cannot be saved. An unknown error occurred (-54)" Apple Music
I'm using a MacBook Air M1 running Sonoma 14.2.1 and receiving this message in Apple Music, "The Music Library file cannot be saved. An unknown error occurred (-54)". I can close the message; however, it pops back up in a few seconds. When I restart Music, I see a message under the current song controls saying my Music library is not synced. When I check Music settings, "Sync Library" is checked. When I uncheck "Sync Library" and then return to Music, my music files are gone. When I recheck "Sync Library" my music returns. So my music files are syncing with the Cloud, but they are not being saved locally on my hard drive. I did run a CleanMyMac full scan and clean this morning. The message started after I ran this utility. Could this be the problem? If so, any ideas on what might have happened and what I should do to fix the issue?
