Message: "The Music Library file cannot be saved. An unknown error occurred (-54)" Apple Music

I'm using a MacBook Air M1 running Sonoma 14.2.1 and receiving this message in Apple Music, "The Music Library file cannot be saved. An unknown error occurred (-54)". I can close the message; however, it pops back up in a few seconds. When I restart Music, I see a message under the current song controls saying my Music library is not synced. When I check Music settings, "Sync Library" is checked. When I uncheck "Sync Library" and then return to Music, my music files are gone. When I recheck "Sync Library" my music returns. So my music files are syncing with the Cloud, but they are not being saved locally on my hard drive. I did run a CleanMyMac full scan and clean this morning. The message started after I ran this utility. Could this be the problem? If so, any ideas on what might have happened and what I should do to fix the issue?

I have a similar issue, but I didn't use CleanMyMac. I'm using a MacBook Air 2020 running Sonoma since 2 weeks (14.5, updated today to see if it would resolve the issue). Everytime I want to import music and turn it into MP3 files for my car from a CD using an Apple superdrive it returns with this error 54.


I didn't have this problem before and the only changes made are the update to Sonoma (14.4.1) from MacOs13 on May 12. Any other people experiencing the same issue since updating to Sonoma and know how to fix this?
