How to change the credit card on file for apple purchases if you're not the organizer and apple id of organizer is no longer in use.

Organizer's email/login no longer exists and I need to update credit card on file. Can you make the other person in family sharing as the new "organizer"

If I change the payment details, does that apply for all family members or just for me? I am part of a family group. The default payment method for purchases is the one of the Organizer. I would like to change it and replace it with my credit card details. Does that apply then only to my account? If anyone else in the group purchases something, will it be deducted from my account?

update payment method if you are not the organizer My husband and I are separating. He has a credit card listed for family sharing and as a result I am unable to edit my payments to remove it and to enter my own credit card number. I don't have myself as being a part of this family sharing, yet I am stuck from doing anything regarding this. I don't want to loose my Icloud account.

Can’t add new payment card to Apple ID I would like to add a new payment card to my Apple ID but it is greyed out so I can’t select it. I also got a new credit card which has the same number as the old one but new CVV and expiry date and it won’t let me update those details either. I can’t remove that card. I have no current subscriptions on my phone. We have family sharing across our 5 family member phones, my husband is the organiser of that. All 3 kids have the same credit card saved on their phones for emergency use. any thoughts?
