I'm trying to do some recording with my new Mac Studio, using a USB mic that I've previously used on my old iMac. I plugged it into a USB port but as far as I can tell the Mac isn't recognizing it.
When I go to Sound in the System Settings, the only input option shown is the Studio Display mic.

Thanks. I found the problem... I was using an adapter but the other end wasn't plugged into the Mac, it was plugged into another device.
Try the Microphone on a USB-C to USB-A adapter plugged into one of the Mac Studios Thunderbolt/USB-C ports.
