Outright replacement of the entire uint is seldom used as a remedy. Your warranty provides repair or replacement (at Apple's discretion) of parts found to be defective in materials or workmanship for the period of the warranty.

My daughter bought a 2023 MacBook Pro 2 1/2 months ago and today it won’t even turn on. Warranty will only help if it’s a hardware issue. Not sure yet what cause is but Apple products have gone downhill even in the US.

Provided you have connected the power adapter and allowed the device to charge, "not powering on" IS a hardware issue and IS covered under warranty.

If instead you get bizarre things on the screen, please elaborate -- and readers can help you decode them and suggest ways to make progress.
