MacBook Trade-In Value

I purchased the model below for $3,499 in October of ‘22. I believe it was the top MacBook at the time as I needed it for photo and video editing on the go. I did a quick online valuation to see what it’s worth today - it does have a screen crack covered by AppleCare and it’s getting fixed and I mentioned it in my trade-in valuation. My trade in value came back at $250. I received more for more iPhone 13 that had a cracked screen. I appreciate apple products, but this is laughable. It’s worse than Kelly Blue Book values for cars. I am writing this as I needed to vent. This is awful customer service. The MacBook below is not that outdated and I’ll be selling it elsewhere. Best part of this - they will fix the screen and sell it refurbished elsewhere for a better profit than a used car.
