Netflix on a hotspot?

I’ve been having this ongoing issue now and Netflix are beyond useless about it, and I cannot get through to my phone provider’s tech support. I use my hotspot for my smart TV. Disney, Youtube and everything work perfectly fine all the time. But Netflix, works for about 10 days then it gives me an error code NW-2-5 or NW-3-6 and when I click on more details it says I am not connected to the internet, when my TV’s settings say I full well am. The only thing that has worked was to literally cancel my Netflix subscription and re activate it about a week later, but I don’t want to keep doing that. I cleared the cache, data, reset to original version, even completely factory reset my TV and it just keeps giving me the error message. I’m using an Iphone 13 for my hotspot. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be causing this? Netflix customer service are so useless and thick skulled about it, they are adamant it’s impossible for Netflix to run off of a hotspot, I wanted to reach through the phone and strangle whoever was on the other end!

Netflix is not an Apple product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or Netflix Help Center

If you encounter any challenges with third-party applications, the best course of action is to directly contact the app developer for further assistance. Here's a brief guide on how to do it:

  1. Identify the app developer.
  2. Visit their website or app store listing.
  3. Look for their contact information or support channels.
  4. Clearly describe the issue you are facing.
  5. Provide any necessary information they may need.
  6. Follow their instructions and provide feedback.
  7. Be patient and follow up if needed.

By reaching out to the app developer, you increase your chances of receiving accurate and personalized support for the challenges you're experiencing. To contact an App developer --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Thanks Einstein.

I am using an Iphone 13 which is an Apple product. There are 4 main components to my issue here, my Sony Bravia TV, which is also not an Apple product, Netflix, my phone provider and my Iphone. I have to troubleshoot them all and look at all the angles. Did you miss the part when I said I already contacted Netflix and they were not only useless in offering a solution but basically called me crazy?
