scrolling lines in fcp7

I am working on a 35-minute film and having difficulty with one piece of footage that doesn't seem to be any different, settings-wise, to any of the others. As a QT movie it is fine, when I import int into FCP7 it has a scrolling line that moves vertically upward every - guessing - 20 frames or so. I've tried different codecs and can't seem to solve the issue. Can anyone help?

Codec: DVC-PAL, dimensions 720 x 576, 25fps, data rate 3.4MB/sec

What you're seeing are called scan lines. I bet you filmed in florescent lighting, which flicker at a rate that coincides with the scan rate of the imaging chips in digital cameras. You can't really get rid of it, it's baked into the video. Maybe someone has a trick to take care of this, but in all my years, I've never seen a solid solution.
