Virus alert I keep getting a virus alert that looks like it is coming from the Mac system preferences. When I click on it, it wants me to get McAfree to resolve issues. Is this legit?

Stop unwanted Notifications - Apple Community

Block pop-ups in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

Block pop-up ads and windows in Safari - Apple Support

Turn off notifications for an app or website on Mac - Apple Support
