Stolen Device Protection not available in iPhone 14 updated to IOS 17.3

I own a Japanese iPhone 14 which was updated to 17.3. The stolen device protection feature is not within the settings page. I was informed that the stolen device protection was in Settings > Face ID and Passcode > Stolen device protection. I have Face ID and passcode activated already. But I can only see Settings > Face ID & Attention and within the Attention page there is no stolen device protection. Please advise.

I believe you are in the wrong screen: "Face ID & Attention" is part of the Accessibility settings.

You need to go to Settings > "Face ID & Passcode". You won't see it if you disallowed "Account Changes" in Settings > Screen Time > "Content & Privacy Restrictions". Set it temporarily to "Allow", wait a few seconds and then goto to Settings > "Face ID & Passcode".
