My iPhone SE is upgraded with IOS17.3 but I can’t find “ Face ID & Passcode” in Settings to be able to turn on Stolen Device Protection.
Do you have any suggestions?

iPhone SE has Touch ID, not Face ID. So you'd be looking in Settings for Touch ID and Passcode.

Might your iPhone be restricted? Might it be owned and regulated by an employer or school?

Alas, IPhone SE doesn’t have a “Touch ID and Passcode” in settings either-
(My iPad does, but no ‘stolen device protection’ shows after opening that)
Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Scan down to make sure Passcode Changes are marked Allow

That is correct. This feature is only on iPhone.
That did it! Thank-you! My usual setup is “Don’t Allow” for both Passcode Changes and Account Changes as a security measure…
