How to turn Stolen Device Protection on or off: Cannot Locate Face ID & Passcode

Running iOS 17.3 on an iPhone 12 Pro.

I would like to turn Stolen Device Protection on.

But, for the life of me, I cannot locate this option!

Any guidance most appreciated. Thanks.

Face ID & Passcode is just under Siri & Search if you had looked further down the list of settings on the page you posted a screenshot from.

Also note that to be able to use Stolen Device Protection, the following three must be true:

  1. Face ID is enabled
  2. Find My is enabled
  3. You must be using Two Factor Authentication

If any one of the above is not true, you cannot turn on Stolen Device Protection
