Says DND is on but only on macbook not iPhone

My friend has his notifications silenced, but it won't show up on my phone, only on my MacBook. Is there something wrong with my phone or my mac?

iPhone 17 Pro silent notifications for messages iPhone 17 pro, messages come in quietly, if I happen to be looking at my screen I will see them but nothing else notifies me. I have reset my phone and gone through all the suggested setup from apple, still no notifications. all these worked on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.. At my wits end...
