You don't need to move it. What you need to do is ensure each member has their own subscription to meet their storage needs. If you should decide to form a new family group, one person can take out a family level subscription so you can all share again.

You can then close the family sharing group. Although you could each just leave, if there are children in the group they need to be transferred.
