Does my Apple Watch update remove the oxygen sensor?

If my new Apple Watch still has an oxygen sensor, just disabled, can Apple reactivate it through an iOS update if the lawsuit is resolved?

I’m sending in my series 6 watch for replacement due to battery age. Will the new one still have the o2 sensor enabled?

Unsure. I know with a series 8 it would be a no. And I suspect that any series would be the same. But I don’t want to assume.

Just take your watch to the Apple Store and have them put in a new battery. Thats what I’m going to do on my 6 Hermès’ once it gets to 80%. $100.

I just updated my Apple Watch 7 and the Oxygen Sensor was removed. That is the only reason I had it. Is Apple going to refund me?

I am returning my ultra 2 if i have to buy a new watch if they reverse it.
