My iPhone 12 mini's battery drains too fast after iOS 17.3 update

Mine is iPhone 15 pro max.. Normally my whole day usage lasted me a day with only 46% left by end of the day... After updating to ios 17.3.. Drained out til 25% before 6pm..

iPhone 14 Pro same issue. Since Update my battery is nearly 10% after 13h of normal use.

Here also a bad experience with the battery of my iPhone 13 with 100% battery health. I'm going to sleep 12pm with 100% battery and when I wake up at 8am it's at 92%. Before in this same situation I woke up with at least 98% often it is still at 100%. I was able to see now in iOS 17.3 that at night without any use what consumes the most energy by the graph is the "find my". Would he be the great villain of battery consumption?

Hi, the same here, 12 mini, in these 2 days, from 7.00 am to 12.00 am battery at 25%. Last firmware with the same usage, 25% arrived after a (mine) hard usage at 8.00/9.00 pm. Triple consumption.

I am facing the same issues, normally I’d finish my day at 5pm with over 40% battery on my 14 Pro Max like today I’ve only gotten 6.5 hours on & I’m at 28%

Apple definitely needs to implement a fix soon.

I'm having the same issue on my 14 Pro. Down to 17% after normal usage. Went down 3% in the last 20 minutes even though I haven't used it. Ridiculous.

Yesterday I update iOS, version 17.3 . my iPhone 13 battery draining so fast in one minute 4

to 6 % battery drain without using anything . How can I fix it?

I have an iPhone 15 pro and I’m very picky about battery life. I don’t use my phone much, my screen on time average is 1:30 to 2 hrs a day, and I’d get 46 to 48 hrs going from 80% to 15% before iOS 17.3. Now, after updating and using it the same way It goes from 80% to 15% in 25 hours, so basically half the battery life with the same use.

I will NEVER update another iOS Device until a week or two after.

Maybe solved.

After a forced reboot yesterday evening and a full charge in night, from this morning 7.00 am to now 10.30 am, with normal usage of (for me), battery is at 77% of charge. More or less a normal drain. Yesterday at this time battery was 35/40% in constant decreasing.

I haven’t had my 15 Pro Max a week yet and feel as if I’ve had the battery 2 years already.. come on Apple push another update to fix this…

Just terrible after update. Phone would easily last all day, now dead by noon with no change in use. Battery health good. Hoping Apple will come through with a fix soon.

my brand new iPhone 15 pro max that has 3 cycle counts on it doesn’t even last 6 hours with minimal use. extremely disappointed with Apple. This phone has worse battery drain than my iPhone 11!

Absolutely the same experienced as the OP on my personal iPhone 12 mini. But have the same effect too on my work phone which is a big iPhone 12 which has always had a much better battery.

My contract is up soon so I’ll definitely be looking at the market for better battery. It’s such a waste of time and natural resources to kill these phones so quickly.

Same issue here after updating to 17.3, that is why I found this thread. I am using an iPhone 15 pro and usually at the end of the day I get approx around 40% to 45% left (fully charged from 7:30 till I get off at work from 3:30p.m.) but now, I get like approx 25% to 20% battery left after work..
