Can I still get "Pages" as the default for opening my pages docs?

How can I get (back) "Pages" as the default for opening my docs (on Sonoma 14.2.1) ? Now "text-edit" comes up as the default and I have to go thru 2 more steps to open a pages doc. Did that change with an update or did I inadvertently change a setting? I no longer use "text edit".

TextEdit cannot open Pages documents. Pick any Pages .pages document in the Finder by single-clicking it. Press option+cmd+i to open an information panel, on which there will be an Open With section. Select Pages there, and then click through the Change All… button and subsequent dialogs. Now, Pages will be the default for .pages documents.
