After paying my Apple Card with Apple Cash the transaction shows as "withdraw" instead of paid.

I attempted to pay my Apple Card with available Apple Cash balance, which I have done previously. The transaction shows up on Apple Cash as "Withdraw" (not payment) and no payment shows up on Apple Card. Where did the money go and how to track it down?

I initiated the payment from the Card in the wallet, the amount was ~$50. I tried again just to see what the issue was and the second time it went through as expected, but I still am $50 short on my Apple Cash balance.

What should I do?

No, not yet.

I see two transactions in Apple Cash, one for a withdrawal that happened the first time I tried to pay the Apple Card and the second one when I tried again, which shows as a payment to the Apple card, and the balance on the card was updated for the second payment. The Apple cash balance is lower by both transaction amounts, but I need to find out where the other one, showing as a withdrawal, is.

The amounts are small, $51.98, and I hope that it will sort itself out, but I have no idea where the withdrawal is heading.

How to I get support on this? Is this an Apple Cash issue or an Apple Card issue, or both? Seems like Apple Cash issues, and as you pointed out, there were issues on Wed, but money shouldn't just "disappear"

Below is a screenshot from the wallet showing both. The first one, for $51, is twice the second one. The first one was to pay the balance plus what has accrued this month (I pay for a subscription or two on this card). When it failed, I tried again, but the Apple Cash balance was less than the total amount (since ~51 was deducted in the withdrawl), so I just made the payment due (25.99). The second one worked fine.

One more piece of info:

This is the email transaction confirmation showing it is going to Apple Card:

At this point, I will assume that because of the Apple Cash issues reported on Wed, the Apple Cash "payment" defaulted to a standard transaction/withdrawal. That will take a few days to settle. I am guessing that by Monday, I will see the first $51.98 payment applied to the card, which is fine.

This has now been resolved. I reached out to the support number (thank you for that @jeff) and they conirmed they saw the payment to the Apple Card, but due to the issues with Apple Cash on Wed, the transaction was "manual" and not automatic.

They said it would be resolved by the end of today (Thursday), and I just noticed in Apple Wallet that the payment was applied, and the balances are as they should be.

Sort of what I assumed, but since it was the only time this happened I wanted to be sure.

@Jeff, Thanks again for the help
