AirPod Pro 1st Gen Crackling!’

I can’t believe this, my AirPod pros have been making crackling noises for the past six months and I finally got excited because there’s been a recall for the first GEN AirPod pros. So I came all the way over to the mall and after meeting with a “Genius “, I was told I missed by a month. Of course, both of my AirPods failed the crackling test but they will not honor the recall because I missed by a month!!! Who can I file a complaint with, this is so sad that they won’t stand by their product.
