Itunes music cannot be converted to MP3

I wanted to download all my songs to transfer to Spotify since I figured it'd be easier than manually searching all 100+ songs again. However, I get the following error for any song I attempt to convert to MP3:

(Text: "Seeing Stars" could not be converted because protected files cannot be converted to other formats.)

For additional context, I'm not under any parental protection and am on a year-long Itunes subscription, and I am attempting to convert on a Windows 11 laptop. Any help would be appreciated!

Real,

Tracks purchased from the iTunes Store (since 2009) are unprotected AAC files and can be converted.

But Apple Music tracks that you download from a subscription are protected and cannot be converted. Since you mention a subscription, that is what you have got.
