When I open Safari, it shows briefly on my screen then slides out of the way and there's the App store in its place. Even if I quit the app store, the next time I open Safari the same thing happens. I cleared cookies and that didn't fix the issue.

I solved this by closing the private browser I had open. Didn’t even realize I had been looking for an app in private browsing mode, that’s why this was occurring.

My app store opens to the app "Contact Mapping" for some reason. I have the same problem as the OP.
