I have a 2022 MacBook Air and was wondering if it'd be possible to directly record audio from my Nintendo Switch console to my laptop, or any other device. I have a 3.5mm TRS audio jack cable but using that to connect the two doesn't recognise it as input.
I was wondering if there's any simple way to do this?

I’m pretty sure you need a USB accessory for audio input.
