The display of iPhone 15 Pro Max has yellow tint/cast

Hey there,

It’s not defective or anything, it’s perfectly normally as apple sources its displays from two suppliers which are Samsung and LG! The Samsung displays are white with a little blue tint in it while the LG has a little yellow tint to it.

Hi friend ive ended up returning the unit to the Tmobile store and the replacemet was perfect! I asked a friend who is a certified techincian of apple phones and he told me that it appears that the company gave me a used rephurbished unit as this thing is not supposed to happen. So.. who knows !! :-/

Go to Accessibility, display and text size, colour filters

I think I’ve figured it out!

Go into Settings>Camera>Photographic Styles.

if you go with Standard, it fixes it.

Go to Settings>Camera>Photographic Styles, and change it to Standard.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it worked for me.

Probably you have turned on Night Shift

• Open Control Center. Firmly press the Brightness control icon, then tap to turn Night Shift on or off.

Same issue on my iPhone 14 plus. Tweaking with the accessibility settings to change the hue/tint has not helped much. Definitely a byproduct of poorer OLED quality process and it looks like Apple allows it. Most people don't seem to care much or don't notice it but it spoils all the colors of the display. My iPad pro has far superior overall color when compared to this - so much so it is a downgrade for me. For the iPhone 15 pro max flagship, it seems unfair.

Same problem. I compared my 15 Pro Max with 3 samples in Apple Store with the same settings, the screen of my iPhone has a yellowish tint. This is especially annoying when viewing photos in the gallery and Instagram, because the yellowish tint distorts the colors. There is no solution.

I see the same yellowish tint on my iphone 15. I have tried all the different setting options, but nothing changes it.

Hi just had my iPhone Pro few days ago and have the same problem. No matter what settings I tweak I never achieve a pure white. Do any of you manage to get it right?
