My USB-C apple watch charging cable ain’t working

I just newly bought the apple watch SE new from an authorized seller, about a week ago, and it has the magnetic charging cable included.

Well i used it normally, charged it few times when needed. But yesterday, i tried to charge it again but it doesn’t want to work anymore. Nothing really happened, I did nothing unusual to the charging cable, i put it normally in my bag as i did the past few days before, i also let the watch charge overnight, the night before this happened. The cable is still new, clean, no sign of burns, it’s just not working. The adapter is fine i still use it with my iphone, it’s the original that i bought with my iphone. I also tried using my aunt’s charging cable and it worked, that’s how I deduced that the problem was the cable and not the watch. In fact the watch is working properly. I just don’t know if i did something wrong, and wish i can fix it.

Apple products, sold through Apple, come with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. I believe this is still true for Apple products sold through an Apple Authorized Reseller. That reseller may also have an additional warranty.

As such, I suggest that you take this charging cable back to where you purchased it, and see if they agree that it may be a defect ... and if so, you may find that you can get a replacement for little or no cost to you.
