Outlook for Mac - "Cannot be Added" WHY???

Hello All - Please help me:


  1. I received this message while attempting to download Outlook on my MacBook Pro.
  2. I currently run Sonoma
  3. I do not have a school license or Mac - no clue where that is coming from.


I run my business email off of outlook through a GoDaddy account.


Please advise.

Hello Chris,


I faced the same issue before few days with my new Mac,


when you open outlook app and before going to enter your email, go to outlook menu and choose Legacy Outlook.

wait for a second the app will restart, and then you can use your email, its just that simple.

however, after you open your email, yo can back to the original mode again!! imagine that.
