The bottom button on the right is grey. It should be blue probably because the superdrive is a removable volume. Click or slide that button so it turns blue. That should allow the Music App you are using to access the Superdrive.
This is under System Settings>Privacy & Security>Files and Folders.
Here’s my disc drive it’s an Apple. i don’t know what model it is.
Here’s my adapter too..
I don’t use Itunes, i use this. Besides i tried that too and when i dragged them onto the player (i opened the CD itself in Finder) It’s not showing in my player library. it’s not in my library.
I DID THAT! I did see ANYTHING saying “Safe Mode”….
Ok, i finaly got it in Safe Mode. NOPE still won’t rip, tried 3 CDs same thing, same error message..
🤷🤷🤷🤷 WHY
That’s what i upgraded to also is Sonoma 14.3. Anyone else?
where is system preferences?
ok i found it but it’s called “System SETTINGS”
Now what do i do?
Go to Files and Folders then find the Music App icon, click on it then click on Activate External Device
*NOT* Media & Apple Music ... go to FILES AND FOLDERS then scroll down until you see the Apple Music icon, click on it and then click on the Activate External Device button.
Look at your screenshot. You see the Apple Music App icon (Media & Apple Music)? Ok, immediately UNDER there's Files and Folders.
"And these messages are not in order of latest post, im having a hard time reading through this, messages are all mixed up."
Set them in "Newest" order :-)
Is this what you mean? That’s the only “Files & Folders” i found..
