QWERTZ Keyboard in Command Set when it should be QWERTY

Hi Guys, I just downloaded to FCPX trial on my Mac (UK bought and British Keyboard in settings, language British) - When I open the customise keyboard it keeps showing QWERTZ (German). I have redownloaded the trial, I have opened the project holding option and command to reset the preferences, I have changed the keyboard in settings to and from British but nothing works.

Any ideas?

I am wanting to test FCPX to move from premiere.

excellent, just what you want from a £300 software haha. You can try the workaround I think I found to set the shortcuts how you like them. Open the command set, then open the keyboard viewer from the menu bar (if it isn't there, in keyboard settings under input sources click edit and turn on "show inout menu in input bar" - then click a button on the keyboard using the mouse and the command set switches to QWERTY. Change everything to how you like. It will reset to QWERTZ when you close FCP, but it will still retain your QWERTY shortcuts... I hope haha

hmmm I just tried this and it is still the same. I found something weird though. When I open the command set in FCP it is QWERTZ. But If I then open the keyboard viewer from the menu bar and then click a letter on it via the viewer... it changes to QWERTY in the command set. However, if I close FCP app and reopen it reverts back to QWERTZ.

All very frustrating.

That is my point, the system preferences is set to British keyboard (QWERTY) and UK region. but the command set is showing as QWERTZ. The keyboard within FCPX actually acts as QWERTY but I cannot change the shortcuts properly because it only shows as German QWERTZ. I have tried clearing the pretences, installing and reinstalling, changing the system settings to and from British to try and reset it. But nothing changes it from QWERTZ.
