Transferring Voice Memo Files to External Hard Drive

Guys. WHY is it SO HARD to find the source files and transfer my Voice Memos to an External Hard drive?! I have tried a ton of ways but they are outdated and my 'MUSIC' app when I sync my phone doesn't even give an option of including Voice Memos. I can only export the whole library but I have no idea if it will carry. I want the originals...

I just want to open up the app or a folder, select, drag and drop like EVERY SINGLE OTHER FILE TYPE in Apple... Ugh. Anyone? Bueller?
