Question About System Fonts NISC18030.ttf on MacBook Pro 2021

Hello Apple Community,

I've recently been going through the system information on my MacBook Pro 2021 and came across some fonts that I didn't recognize. I wanted to see if anyone else has noticed something similar. Particularly, there's a font named "NISC18030.ttf" categorized as Bitmap. It seems to be associated with GB18030 Bitmap and has references to NISC, People's Republic of China.

Additionally, I found other fonts like ".Helvetica LT MM", ".LastResort", and ".Times LT MM" with various classifications and details.

I'm a bit concerned because I'm not sure how these fonts got into my system and whether their presence is normal or something I should investigate further. Specifically, I would like to know:

Is it common to find such fonts in a MacBook Pro?
Is there a standard way to verify the authenticity and security of system fonts?
Has anyone else noticed similar fonts or has knowledge about their purpose and origin?

PS Here is the list of fonts in Sonoma

Fonts included with macOS Sonoma - Apple Support

Try googling "NISC18030.ttf" for some info about that one.

Here is Apple's own list of fonts for Ventura

Normally only the user can install extra fonts, and when you do, they are checked for errors of various sorts.

I have download tons of fonts over decades and never run into one that posed a security problem (but plenty that don't work right).

All Mac's have a huge number of fonts provided by Apple. The source of any problems you have is elsewhere.

Do you also have a bunch of unrecognizable open type fonts? If you look under software > frame works do you see a bunch of random frame works obtained from "unknown" source? I've had some random wear on my computer for months now and can't get rid of it no matter how many times I switch ISPs, devices, locations, etc.
