Change App Store country for child account

I am a family group organiser, and have just changed App Store country to United Kingdom. Now in my own account, I can see the Apps exclusively available in the UK. However, my child account is still not able to access to those UK exclusive Apps via her own ID. Why?

thank you Limnos.

l had a 95 minute call with Apple Support. It got escalated at the end and was resolved by the escalation team in 5 mins!!

They deactivated all the family sharing restrictions on my son’s acct. Then logged out of Media and purchases.

And on my device (Parent Device), logged out of Media and purchases and logged in with my son’s Apple ID. That worked like a charm.

l then logged back in with my own Apple acct , once the changes were successful.

Hope this helps others.

Did she also change her account country?

In fact I am surprised you can change your country at all without encountering issues with the Family Sharing group. Apple specifically states that all family members must have their accounts set to the same country or region.

Legal - Apple Media Services - Apple

"All Family members must share the same Home Country."

The thing is, as far as I know (I have never done this) nobody can change country settings if they are part of a Family Sharing group. You have to disband the old group and then form it again when all have changed their accounts to the new country. This can make it somewhat complicated if child accounts are involved.
