I just checked with the HP support site for this exact printer model. The latest set of printer drivers they have available if for macOS 10.12 (Sierra). I don't suspect that they will be providing updates for your version of macOS.
That leaves you with, at least, three choices:
- Try using a generic printer driver.
- Use a VM manager, like Parallels, to run a VM of macOS Sierra, when you want to use this printer.
- Purchase a newer printer model.
