Apple Maps - Save complex route

I am using Apple Maps to create a complex road trip that has 10 (or possibly more) stops. I want to save that complex route for future use. I know how to create the route and save favorites places, but I want to be able save and edit this complex route without having to type in all of the stops repeatedly.
