Blocked verification codes

On my iPhone 13, I am suddenly getting verification codes blocked on text.

This message comes up.

You were unable to receive a text message due to a device restriction or insufficient funds.

iPhone not receiving Apple account verification codes My iPhone is not receiving verification codes. I get the "Apple account sign in requested" pop-up on my phone, and I click "allow." Then ... nothing happens. I do not have any connection issues - I can send and receive texts, emails, and phone calls. But the verification code never comes. Sometimes, but not always, I get the option to receive the code via text. The text comes through fine. What could be wrong? Any ideas how to address it?
