.Your battery is probably dead and can no longer hold a charge. You'll need to replace the battery or keep the iPod connected to a power bank when it's away from the computer.

ipod says "no battery remains" but is charged full. i believe this is the ipod 5th gen 30gb for some reason, its fine for like 7 minutes about maybe and then suddenly says "no battery remains" but its fully charged?and theres no problems with it once plugged in. do i need to get a new battery for it?
