delete smart playlists

I want to delete Smart Playlists form my Apple Music app. Not only did I not ask for this but they are not smart. It includes classical music in a 90's playlists. Please...

Each time I delete a smart playlist, the next time I start the app, it comes back. What's the point of having the option of deleting it just for it to pop back unwanted in the first place?

Try holding down option as you launch music and then use the choose library option to explicitly reselect the library, typically ~/Music/Music/Music Library.musiclibrary where ~ is your user's home folder. Try relaunching Music with option+cmd held down which opens it in safe mode and may do some housekeeping. See if edits now stick.
