Defective iPhone 14s

I suggest anyone in the market for a new phone avoid the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro max line at all costs. The rear appears to be metal, though it’s a matte glass.

The phones are faulty and are reported all over the community as being lemons. Apple refuses to fix under manufacturer’s warranty.

I’ve been a loyal iPhone user since the iPhone 4 and just ordered the Google Pixel 7. So long Apple ✌️

I took my phone from my pocket and i noticed the camera surround looked broken and took my case off to find this.
Considering the screenshots of people sharing my experience, that is a manufacturers defect.
How is putting a phone in a pocket is beyond the normal use of a phone for it not to be covered under warranty? I should be able to put a $1300 phone in my pocket and not expect it to break.

I ran a repair desk for a major U.S. cellular carrier for twenty years. I've heard it all and seen it all. I understand it's upsetting when an expensive phone gets broken, but it doesn't change the fact that your phone suffered impact damage. Apple isn't going to replace it.

Best of luck.
