That model number corresponds to a phone meant for sale in China. The Chinese government bans eSims and as such all phones meant for sale in China can only ever support physical sim cards.

The iPhone does not have 2 sim slots, only 1, but the sim tray should be able to receive two sim cards, one on each side of the tray.

The phone that you have was designed and manufactured for sale in China, where they do not have eSIM capability. So, your phone does not have eSIM capability.

Does your phone have 2 SIM slots? If it does, the phone was designed for sale in China....where they do not have eSIM capabilities.

That iPhone was manufactured for China and is dual physical Sim and does NOT support eSim at all.

That is correct, the model made for China does not have the option for eSIM. You would know this had you read through this post.

The SIM Card holder in your iPhone holds two Sim cards

But 2 physical sim slots not available in the phone.

Carefully look inside the SIM opening and you will see that 2 SIM cards will fit in there.
