That model was manufactured specifically for use in Hong Kong, and Mainland China.....where carriers do not offer or support an eSIM option at all. The A2634 version is SIM only, although it will support 2 SIM cards.
So, it would be impossible to add eSIM capability to the model that you have, no matter where you might be located.

You purchased a phone intended for the China mainland market*.
Phones intended for China mainland do not support eSIM, and local telcos don’t offer eSIM.
eSIM hardware support cannot be retrofit.

*Or one of certain models intended for Hong Kong or Macao, with similar eSIM omission.
Please note that I said above that it would be impossible to add eSIM capability to the model of iPhone that you have. That 2 SIM version was designed to be used in Hong Kong and mainland China.
If you want eSIM, you will need a different iPhone.
If someone told you that your iPhone would support eSIM, you received incorrect information.

Have you tried resetting your phone's network settings?
It's usually a good idea to read the posts before you post something which can't possibly help the author. Had you done so, you'd have seen they own an iPhone which was made for the China market, which means they could reset their network settings a 1000 times and it still won't support an eSim.
Tap Settings > General > About
Now tap directly on the Model Number.....and another 5 character number will appear. It will start with an "A".
Example.....something like A2482, A2634, etc.
What is that exact 5 character number?

If you need a supporting second opinion. NO, there is NO solution to add an eSim to the model phone you own. If you need to own a phone which can use an eSim, then sell your phone and buy one which wasn't manufactured for the China/Macau/Hong Kong markets.
It’s A2634
