calendar search does not show previous year events

Searching for repeated events in previous year using name contains does not show any results on my Mac with Sonoma 14.2.1 operating system

Macbook Pro Calendar Search Not Working Has anyone encountered the issue where the search feature is not working on the new macbook 2021 pro. Everything is currently up to date, running Monterey OS, 12.0.1. I tried everything from seeing if it works in safe mode, to re-adding the accounts/calendars in calendar preferences. This is a fresh install and I have multiple accounts' calendars which show all the events fine. I'm out of ideas how to get this search feature to work again : ( Desperate need of help for work thanks guys

Search in Calendar on macOS Monterey 12.2 Search seems stuck on only searching 'today' and still can't find en event that I can see, plain as can be. It used to be that I could find all events of the same name running back over the months and I found this very useful. I cannot find anyplace I can adjust 'search' settings - am I hunting for a needle in a haystack or could it be that the 'search' function has been altered in some way? Is this a bug or a feature?

Calendar Search Broken on New Computer/Old Account Upon migrating from an older Mac to an M1, both running Monterey, my Calendar search no longer works. In other words, it works, but only finds items added since I've been using the new computer. It won't find any events which were added on the old computer or simply before the new computer was set up (even if they're literally on the same day). I found some other users on here sharing the same issue, so it's not just me, however, they didn't find any solution. All calendars are through iCloud. Tried all the basic troubleshooting with no change. Also updated to the latest 12.5.1 OS today.

I'm on a MacBook Pro - using OS 14.4.1. I, too, can't search for previous events that happened before 23rd April 2024. I don't know if my Mac automatically upgraded the OS on that day. I can search for old events via my iPhone - but it is so frustrating that I can find old events. I depend on Cal for my business. Checking when clients last had appointments with me, etc.
