Fast Forward or Rewind on Apple Watch

For some inane reason there's no ability to scrub through, fast forward or rewind music on the Apple Watch. Why would there be right? It's not as if the 6th gen iPod Nano had the ability with the exact same formfactor a decade ago. Apple seems to be at war with this feature in general. Maybe they're big 8-track fans.

Anyway it would seem like a possible solution would be to use shortcuts. There is a "seek" shortcut where you can set a predetermined seek forward or back time. So if you create one for fast forward and one for rewind and set the time to 5 seconds now you can fast forward or rewind a song. Add these as complications to a watch face and you're set right? Wrong the watch asks if you're sure you want to seek every single time. making this feature useless. The "show when run" toggle doesn't exist for the "seek" shortcut. Is there any solution for this?
