iPhone 15 Pro overheating after iOS update to 17.3

Hello,

Anybody who's experiencing as well these issues I'm encountering after updating my Iphone 15 pro IOS version to 17.3?

  • My Iphone becomes hot
  • Battery drains so fast
  • camera flash and flash lights are disable due to phone temperature

I already turned off "Background App Refresh" and on "Low power mode" but still I have these issues. Before my phone works normal, this only happened after I update IOS version to 17.3

Other recommendations to address this issue?

Thanks,

After this iOS 17 update I have been experiencing cellular network issues, iMessages not going through or being received, call drops and missed calls. Any recommendations?

Anyone have trouble with Wifi connecting? I just purchased an IPhone 15 Pro Max and when I set up, it required iOS 17.3 update. Although I just used the phone for 1 day, it started messing up. The wifi cannot connect and when I tried to access the Wifi on Settings, the whole phone just stopped working immediately. I had to restart it. The keyboard is supper laggy too.

My iPhone SE v2 failed to restart after the "update". Showed that the USB port would not connect to the computer and would not restart. Apple's various online suggested fixes don't work. I fear that Apple has now bricked my phone as it cannot connect to the computer to do anything. No restore or update is possible. Just a dead phone that won't even stay turned off [until the battery runs down?]

What is Apple going to do about this?

It turned out that I "fixed" this by accident. Restarting my Windows iTunes it required a login to the Apple store. This then triggered a large upload of a file which then allowed my iPhone to be reconnected to the computer. From there it was just time needed (over an hour) to reset my iPhone to factory settings and then restore my iPhone. A further hour was taken to reload all the apps on the phone.

So the failure to connect was purely a software issue that was known by the developers, yet not communicated to support, nor apparently by QA. So much aggravation and stress caused by poor documentation and poor Apple support online, not to mention that Apple assumes another working phone to work with support rather than chat/email on the website. Security feature or just plain thoughtless incompetence?

I’m having issues with the keyboard.

I’ve purchased a new phone Monday, when I was setting up the device the new update, iOS 17.3 started.

Due to accidents in the past I went straight to a shop and got a protection for the screen.

I thought that was the issue.

Keyboard won’t keep up, letters freeze. I’ve started to google it and I can see I’m not the only one. This is making me so mad. I can’t type properly. It became a nightmare.

Any recommendations?
