Despite having plenty of free storage, the app store is not letting me download a large app.

I was trying to download Death Stranding: Directors Cut earlier today, however every time I attempt to download it, I get an error stating that I don't have enough free storage. The Disk Utility reports that i have 93 GBs of free storage and the app takes up 73, so I'm not sure why I'm getting this message.

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 14.2

I've got a brand new Macbook Pro maxed to the highest available options. It's been trying to download for 2 hours, and my internet download speeds exceed 600 mbps. Anyone else having this issue? What could the problem be?

There's an app that takes up 73 GB of storage???

Note that even if this did work, I would not want to use a computer that only had 20 GB free space.
