My Contacts app is stuck

Contacts is stuck on a group list and I cannot get it to load "All Contacts". Timemachine doesn't allow reset.

Cant' Delete Contacts from a List I can no longer delete a contact from a group. When I select and contact and press delete, nothing happens (other than the sound made when I press a key and nothing happens). A brief (meaning it only works once or twice per iteration) is to quit Address Book, and then I restart holding down SHIFT. That fixes the issue briefly, but after deleting 1 or 2 contacts, the problem reappears. (note: a different issue also happens when trying to drag contacts to a list/group. I can do it one or twice, then it does not allow it. As above, I can reset things by quitting the application and restarting while holding SHIFT). Help!!

Contacts cannot be added to a group - problem has never been resolved This problem has persisted at least since 2018. If I want to create a new group in Contacts, I have to close Contacts after each addition. The program also will not allow me to drag and drop a contact into a group without closing Contacts after each add. This is ridiculous. I've used nothing but Mac computers since 2006 and this is best you can do with Contacts? How is this problem "business friendly?"

Contacts application not working I am not able to add contacts to a group in my list. Is there a solution for this? I have had this issue for quite some time and was hoping that with the recent software update this would be resolved but it isn't. How can this be fixed?

Solved. Somehow "Show Lists" under "View" had been turned off, likely after a crash. Odd, but it's fixed.
