Narrow keyboard

After I added a zoom date to my calendar from an email and when I replied to the email in landscape mode the keyboard was very usefully narrow. How can I replicate this, as having just 1/3rd of the space hidden behind the keyboard is much better for me?

Incidentally, the split keyboard is not at all useful to me as I use a swipe keyboard.
