WhatsApp chat lock is not working

i am facing issue when i try to lock conversation on WhatsApp, when i enable lock chat option it show me notification about the service then I select continue it pop up message asking me to setup face ID to lock this chat after i press OK nothing happened and service still disabled. Adding that after i press learn more in the notification message appear it directs me to WhatsApp chat lock page it ask me to check privacy option on WhatsApp settings and select chat lock option that doesn’t exist in the settings?!!

Thanks for your reply, I found the issue it was in the settings > face ID & passcode > other app > enable WhatsApp

Glad you got it working. I do not have the "other app" option at Settings > Face ID & Passcode on either of my devices.

You will need to contact WhatsApp support for trouble with their app. It is not an Apple Application and only the developer of the app will be able to solve a user account problem or provide an update to the app if it affects many users.
