All "clear cache" for Safari instructions are incorrect for Sonoma

How the heck do I clear the cache in Safari? ALL the instructions I have found say to go to Safari > Preferences. There is NO longer a "Preferences" selection on the menu since Sonoma. Hasn't anyone updated this?

Sonoma Update Missing URL Search Bar & + to add a new tab in Safari I just updated to Sonoma. I have had the URL search bar at the top of safari above the tabs and favorites. Now, it is gone since the update. I scoured settings and view tab. I played around with things toggling them on and off. I can't seem to find where it went. I also no longer have that plus symbol to open a new tab to search google. This can't be the only way to open a search bar...file..open new tab. How do I get the search bar back and the easy new tab shortcut button? I hate updates that change everything.

Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data.

In some regions Settings may be labeled as "Preferences". This support Article uses "Settings".
