Lost contents in Microsoft Word

Hi,

I created a Microsoft word page on iPad Pro and typed up a few things on it but after I copied some contents from the net to the document, all my other content on that document got deleted somehow and now I have lost all my contents. I have autosave on documents but when I open the document again, everything is lost on that document. How can I recover lost contents?

A Google search suggests that recovery is possible - assuming that the Microsoft Autosave feature was enabled on your iPad:

  1. Open Word.
  2. Click on File tab.
  3. At the lower part in the File tab, look for Recover Unsaved Documents option and then click on it.
  4. Look for the Word document you are trying to recover.
  5. Click Open.
  6. If you were able to open the document, it will give you the option to save the file.
